Happy Birthday, Eileen!

I can't find the picture I wanted to post---still looking for what is either her first or second birthday picture----but I don't want the day to go any further without wishing my sister, Eileen, a very, very Happy Birthday!!! We all hope you're having a great day and that this year is nothing short of wonderful for you!!!

Congratulations to the Grubbs Family!

Ashley figured out how to get this picture off my phone so I can post a real Congratulations and Welcome to the newest Baby Grubbs...Turitt Ryan, born last Tuesday night, 2/16/10.
We are all so thrilled to see his pictures on Jill's blog and really happy for Gavin, Addison, Avery and Everett...along with his parents to have him home safe and healthy....and obviously, very beautiful!!!
We love all of you and cannot wait to meet Truitt!

Another Beautiful Snow Day!!!

We woke up to a blizzard and school closings today! Everyone was delighted AND surprised. The court was still open so I had to go in early---pretty easy to do when I'm the only one getting ready to go, through!
The kids and dogs are all having great fun and I'm home now, too!

Rabbit Alex

Little Rabbits in "The Mitten"

Alex and Ben's first grade class performed the play, "The Mitten", on Friday afternoon. Alex and Ben were the rabbits...and what teriffic rabbits they were!
Pete and I had a wonderful time watching them. We both knew all the songs since they had been practicing at home for a least six weeks....good job,Alex and Ben! You are very fun to watch on stage. Thanks for inviting us.

Fun week-end of snow and playing!

The kids had a great week-end of doing not much of anything but playing outside and in! Ashley was here, which they always love and they "did again" all that she had missed while at school last week!

Annual Daddy Daughter Dance

Last Tuesday night in the middle of a blizzard, Pete and the girls went off the the Hannah Center to the annual Daddy Daughter Dance. They danced up a storm and didn't come home until it was over! They all had a great time! The boas and crowns were the party favors---not something I dressed them in!
Pete went out and plowed with Jim for a couple of hours after dancing---we had no school the next day, and a great, fun morning!

Sweet Sleepovers!

Buffy and Addison are really, really into sleepovers! Since they live four houses apart it's pretty easy. One night, big sister, Abbie spent the night, too. She had to show me that she was now as tall or taller than I am---how does THAT keep happening with all these kids???
Anyway, I found a great sale on the red, slinky nightgowns that they are wearing with tiaras for the Vanentine's Eve sleepover! They were very funny and fun!

Happy Valentine's Day & Happy Snow Day!

This is a combo of pictures of our snow day on Wednesday, and Valentine Parties at school on Thursday. Addison spent the day with us on Friday (a winter break day) and she and Buffy had great fun!

Buddy Basketball

Buffy, Ben, and Alex finished their Buddy Basketball program yesterday. They were thrilled to get their certificates. Ben and Alex are looking forward to next year when they can play on 'real' teams!
